Care Assistant – Day or Night Shifts

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join a modern residential care home in Marton Moss, Blackpool. The role can be on day or night shifts, providing person‑centred support to residents in a warm, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and support to residents.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Assist with meals, mobility and social activities.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents’ wellbeing.

Required profile

• Level 2 qualification (or above) in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience in a residential or nursing care setting.
• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organised and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in record‑keeping.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.
