Care Assistant – Flexible Home Care Role

About the role

Beaumont Home Care is seeking caring individuals to provide home‑based support for clients across Brentwood and the surrounding South East England area. The role offers flexible hours between 7 am and 10 pm, suitable for early birds, night owls, and weekend workers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Administer medication following training and company protocols.
• Support clients with errands, shopping, and prescription collection.
• Provide companionship, ensuring dignity, patience, and compassion.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Reliability, patience, and a strong caring attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for clients.
• Calm under pressure and capable of problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Trained medication administration (training provided).
• Basic personal care techniques.
• Ability to support clients with daily living activities.
