Care Assistant – Full Time (Days & Nights)

About the role

Join a well‑established, family‑owned luxury retirement home in central Weston‑super‑Mare. As a Care Assistant you will support a small community of 20 residents, delivering person‑centred care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and mobility assistance.
• Support residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and the care team.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Promote a safe, caring and respectful environment at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a care or residential setting.
• Caring, compassionate and patient nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, flexible and team‑oriented.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
