About the role

This full‑time night position supports residents in a small, family‑owned luxury retirement home in central Weston‑super‑Mare. You will help maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing for up to 20 residents in a calm, person‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and mobility assistance.
Assist residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
Promote a safe, caring and positive environment throughout the night shift.

Required profile

Previous experience in a care setting.
Caring, compassionate and patient nature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, flexible and team‑focused attitude.
Genuine passion for supporting older people.
Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
