Care Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

Audley Care is looking for compassionate Care Assistants to provide home‑care services to customers in Kintbury and surrounding villages. You will support clients with daily living activities, promote independence and ensure care meets CQC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients daily, following personal care plans that include bathing, dressing, toileting and medication assistance.
• Assist with household tasks such as cooking, laundry, cleaning and fitness support.
• Support clients attending medical appointments, collecting prescriptions and provide post‑hospital care.
• Maintain accurate electronic daily logs and communicate with the care team via the company app.

Required profile

• Good written and spoken English.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• High standard of personal presentation and uniform hygiene.
• Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and adapt to varying client needs.

Required skills

• Use of a company‑provided mobile device and scheduling app.
• Accurate completion of electronic care logs and medication instructions.
• Knowledge of the local area to plan visits efficiently.
