Care Assistant – Home Care (Thirsk)

About the role
We are looking for a caring and motivated individual to join Agincare as a Home Care Assistant at Orchid House in Thirsk. The role involves supporting customers with personal care, medication, meals and companionship across day, night and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Administer medication safely as required.
- Prepare meals, snacks and support shopping needs.
- Carry out light domestic duties and ensure a tidy environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Passionate, motivated and empathetic attitude.
- Positive and professional team ethos.
Required skills
- Good people skills and ability to show strong empathy.
