Care Assistant

About the role

Join our newly‑opened luxury care home in Matlock and make a meaningful difference to the lives of our 78 residents each day. As a Care Assistant you will deliver person‑centred support that promotes dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assistance with mobility and nutrition, and emotional support.
• Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe, responsive and consistent care environment.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to create a warm, respectful atmosphere.
• Cover alternate weekends as part of the rota.

Required profile

• A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.

• £12.71 per hour with enhanced overtime rates.
• Full‑time and part‑time contracts available.
