About the role

Join the friendly team at Sanctuary Care’s Chyvarhas Residential and Nursing Home in Callington. As a Care Assistant you will help create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich residents’ daily lives.
• Deliver personalised care in line with each resident’s care plan.
• Encourage participation in leisure and social activities.
• Show kindness, respect and empathy to residents, their families and fellow staff.

Required profile

• Enjoy being part of a team that creates a happy home.
• No prior experience required – full training and support are provided.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to adapt to different situations.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and genuinely caring for older people.

• £13 per hour (hourly rate) with 33 hours per week available.
