Care Assistant

About the role

Join the dedicated team at WillowsCare Home in Milton Keynes, providing compassionate support to older residents with diverse needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges. As a Care Assistant you will help create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for each resident.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, mealtimes, and daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily records, charts, and care plans.
• Facilitate meaningful activities that promote independence, choice, dignity, and social interaction.
• Support the delivery of high‑quality care in line with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Experience in a care setting or a caring, kind approach with a desire to work with older people.
• Reliability, dedication, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Willingness to undergo DBS screening and attend induction training.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate £13.45‑£14.25 depending on experience.
• Full‑time (36‑48 hrs/week) or part‑time shifts, days or nights.
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), enhanced bank‑holiday pay, and annual salary review.
• Free on‑site parking, paid uniform, DBS certificate, and funded qualifications through apprenticeship programmes.
