About the role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join our award‑winning team at Adelaide Care Home in Bexleyheath. You will provide high‑quality personal care and support to residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring respect and dignity at all times.
- Monitor and recognise clinical risk factors such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk and signs of infection, and promptly report any concerns.
- Treat residents and their visitors courteously, respecting each individual's individuality.
- Follow safe working practices across all tasks.
Required profile
- Demonstrates caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable values.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative, respect for residents and colleagues, and ability to follow instructions.
- Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
