Care Assistant

About the role

As a Care Assistant at Pottersway House Care Home, you will support up to 60 residents in a luxury setting, delivering person‑centred care across residential, dementia, nursing and respite services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain a safe, respectful and comfortable environment.
• Provide support during alternate weekend shifts as required.

Required profile

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Previous care experience beneficial but not essential.
