Care Assistant

About the role

Audley Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to provide home‑care services that support independence and wellbeing for customers in the Royal Tunbridge Wells area. You will work directly in the community, delivering personal care, household support and companionship.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers daily and follow personalised care plans, assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, meals and medication administration.
• Perform household duties including cooking, laundry, cleaning and fitness support.
• Support customers attending medical appointments, collect prescriptions and provide post‑hospital assistance.
• Encourage independence, respect dignity and privacy, and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic daily logs and communicate via the company mobile app.

Required profile

• Good written and spoken English.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of the local area.
• Professional personal presentation and adherence to uniform standards.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and adapt to varying customer needs.
