Care Assistant (Largs)

About the role
Join Hutton Park Care Home in Largs as a Care Assistant, providing person‑centred support to up to 37 residents in a luxurious, seaside setting. You will help residents maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing each day.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create a warm, respectful environment.
- Maintain accurate records and support safe, responsive care delivery.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential; SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
Required skills
What we offer
- £13.60 per hour, up to 42 hours per week.
- Paid PVG, paid breaks, pension scheme and uniform.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time basis).
