Care Assistant – Night Shift (Full‑time)

About the role
As a Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will support residents during night shifts, ensuring they receive high‑quality care and companionship. The role is full‑time, night‑only, and offers a varied, rewarding day‑to‑day experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with food, drink and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
- Monitor residents throughout the night and report any changes to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the care home.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Empathy and a warm‑hearted approach to delivering care.
