Care Assistant – Night Shift

About the role
Join the caring team at Chalgrove Care Home in Poole as a Night Care Assistant. This zero‑hour position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference to residents’ lives while gaining fully funded training and qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality personal care and support to residents during night shifts.
- Assist with medication administration and accurate record‑keeping.
- Support daily living activities, routines and promote independence.
- Engage residents in social activities, hobbies and companionship.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person‑centred care.
Required profile
- Kind, compassionate and motivated to help others.
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
- Willingness to work alternate weekends and night shifts.
- Patient, good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of personal care and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow medication administration protocols.
