Care Assistant – Residential Care Home

About the role
Join a scenic residential care home in Dunoon, providing high‑quality, person‑centred care for 32 residents. As a Care Assistant you will support daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and help create a warm, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and report any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Participate in hand‑overs and team meetings to ensure continuity of care.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, positive and willing to learn.
- SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
Required skills
What we offer
- £13.60 per hour.
- Full‑time or part‑time contracts with flexible hours and job‑share options.
- Paid PVG pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time).
