About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Waterloo Care Home in Wimborne. In this full‑time position you will help residents maintain dignity, independence and a high quality of life through daily personal care and supportive activities.

Key responsibilities

Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
Administer and accurately record medication.
Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
Support social and recreational activities to promote engagement.
Deliver person‑centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

Kind, compassionate and enjoys working with people.
Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts and alternate weekends.
Previous experience in a care home setting.

Required skills

Medication administration and record‑keeping.

What we offer

£12.76 per hour.
Funded training up to QCF Level 5.
36‑42 hour weeks with alternate weekends.
Refer‑a‑Friend bonus up to £1,000.
Blue Light Card discounts, pension scheme and on‑demand pay.
