Care Assistant – Residential & Dementia Care

About the role
We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our luxury care home in Melton Mowbray. You will provide person‑centred support to residents, helping them maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing each day.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Support daily living activities while promoting a safe and respectful environment.
- Work collaboratively with the care team on both day and night shifts.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, positive and willing to learn.
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential; NVQ Level 2 desirable.
Required skills
What we offer
- £12.71 per hour, 38.5‑44 hours per week.
- Paid DBS check, pension contribution and uniform.
- 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (full‑time).
- Full training, guidance and ongoing development.
