Care Assistant – Residential & Dementia Care

About the role
Join our purpose‑built care home on the woodland edge of Forres, where you will provide compassionate, person‑centred support to residents living with dementia, nursing needs, or requiring respite care. As a Care Assistant you will help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support.
- Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent, high‑quality care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance care skills.
Required profile
- A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
- SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
Required skills

- £13.60 per hour.
- £500 welcome bonus (terms & conditions apply).
