Care Assistant – Scottish Islands

About the role
Randstad Care is seeking compassionate support workers to join our team on the Scottish Islands. You will provide personalised care in community settings, homes, and care homes, helping service users maintain independence and dignity.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
- Support moving and handling activities safely.
- Carry out household chores and general domiciliary care.
- Promote independence, dignity and well‑being for users with diverse needs.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of UK care experience in a care home or community setting.
- Compassionate, caring attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
Required skills
- Moving and handling training.
- Medication administration training.
