Care Assistant / Support Worker – Home Care

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across South East England. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity and quality of life while working as part of a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication according to care plans and company procedures.
• Prepare meals and support clients with eating and drinking.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility, safe transfers and light household duties.
• Support clients with shopping, appointments and community activities.
• Record care accurately and report any concerns.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety, and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• A caring, patient and respectful attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, honesty and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
