Care Assistant – Waking Nights (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Agincare as a Waking Nights Care Assistant, providing compassionate support to clients in their own homes. You will help people maintain dignity and independence while enjoying friendly conversation and practical assistance during evening hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support daily routines, including meal preparation, shopping and light household duties.
• Offer companionship, listen to clients and engage in meaningful conversation.
• Help with medication reminders and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities and report any concerns to the care team.

Required profile

• Kind, compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Minimum 12 months remaining on your UK right‑to‑work (no sponsorship available).
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends and night shifts.
