Care Team Leader – Residential Care Home

About the role

We’re excited to welcome a Care Team Leader to our friendly team at St Breock Residential Care Home in Wadebridge. This role is about more than a job – it’s a calling to support older residents and help them feel at home.

Key responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing of residents and ensure they feel at home.
• Work collaboratively with the team to enrich residents’ lives and deliver personalised care according to individual care plans.
• Incorporate leisure and social activities into daily routines.
• Guide, mentor and encourage Care Assistants in their professional development.

Required profile

• Experience in care, with an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent desirable.
• Clear communication skills and flexibility in working patterns.
• Team‑player who values collaboration.
• Kindness and genuine interest in older people.
• Commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect.
