About the role
This one‑year Career Starter Apprenticeship gives you a blend of classroom learning and hands‑on store experience. You will work alongside store managers and assistants, gaining the skills needed to become a fully qualified Store Assistant.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily store operations, including stock handling and customer service.
- Participate in training sessions to achieve a Level 2 Retail qualification.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Contribute to sales targets by promoting products and offering advice to shoppers.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic about retail and eager to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to balance practical work with theoretical study.
- Commitment to complete the full one‑year programme.
