Career Starter Apprentice – Retail Store Position

About the role

Join Aldi as a Career Starter Apprentice in retail and experience a fast‑paced, supportive environment. Over a one‑year programme you will combine classroom learning with hands‑on store work, gaining a Level 2 Retail qualification and the foundation to become a fully‑fledged Store Assistant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist store managers and colleagues with daily store operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and support the checkout process.
• Maintain store presentation, stock shelves and ensure product availability.
• Learn and apply health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to team goals.

Required profile

• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to balance theory study with practical store duties.

Required skills
