Careers Education Manager – Creative & Cultural Industries

About the role

The Careers Education Manager (SCCI) will support UCL Careers’ mission by delivering credit‑bearing employability modules and providing specialist career guidance to students within the School for the Creative and Cultural Industries. Working at UCL East, you will help shape the Global Creative & Cultural Skills Hub and enhance student employability both in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver employability‑related teaching sessions for credit‑bearing modules.
• Provide one‑to‑one career advice appointments for SCCI students.
• Plan and run extracurricular career activities aligned with strategic programmes such as the Global Creative & Cultural Skills Hub.
• Line‑manage the Careers Education Officer (SCCI).
• Collaborate with industry partners and internal stakeholders to develop skills‑development opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the creative and cultural industries.
• Experience supporting credit‑bearing employability modules.
• Proven ability to advise students in both one‑to‑one and group settings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
