About the role

We are looking for a reliable caretaker/maintenance assistant to join a leading facilities management team on a temporary basis in Middlesbrough (TS6 9AG). The role involves cleaning and basic maintenance tasks across a range of sites, working Monday to Friday on rotating shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, lighting checks, and reporting faults.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, ensuring safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Adhere to scheduled shift times, which may be 06:00‑14:00 or 11:00‑19:00.

Required profile

  • Reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to obtain a PVG check (no criminal convictions).
  • Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
