Carpenter & Joiner – Construction & Refurbishment

About the role

Join a well‑established construction and refurbishment contractor delivering high‑quality work across residential, commercial and heritage projects. As a Carpenter & Joiner you will perform a variety of first‑fix and second‑fix tasks, working both on‑site and in the workshop to meet project demands.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first‑fix and second‑fix carpentry, including door, skirting and architrave installation.
• Erect stud walls, install flooring and produce bespoke joinery pieces.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure work complies with specifications.
• Work independently and collaboratively, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Adapt to a mix of site‑based and workshop‑based projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Carpenter & Joiner in construction or refurbishment.
• Strong competence in both first‑fix and second‑fix carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Own tools and a valid CSCS card where required.
• Professional attitude with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
