About the role

A leading charitable Housing Association in Redhill, Surrey is seeking a Carpenter Multi‑Trade to join its responsive maintenance team. The role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties, delivering high‑quality, efficient service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and improvements.
• Perform a range of multi‑trade tasks and assist other trades as required.
• Respond to day‑to‑day maintenance requests in occupied social housing.
• Diagnose faults accurately and complete “right first time” repairs.
• Ensure work complies with health & safety, regulatory and organisational standards.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to residents.
• Use handheld devices to log jobs, materials and updates.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification and/or experience in carpentry.
• Proven experience in responsive maintenance.
• Strong multi‑trade abilities alongside carpentry skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
