Casual Class 1 Driver – Highbridge

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team in Highbridge. You will be responsible for moving packaging materials to production sites and delivering finished yoghurt products to our logistics hub, ensuring each delivery meets our high standards of safety and service.

Key responsibilities

• Transport packaging materials to production sites and deliver finished yoghurt products to the logistics site.
• Load and secure goods using straps, nets and other devices to prevent shifting or damage.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Maintain real‑time communication with the transport office regarding delivery progress and any issues.
• Represent the company professionally at each delivery point, providing excellent customer service.
• Participate in ongoing training, refresher courses and regulatory updates.

Required profile

• Must hold a UK Class 1 (CE) licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions.

Required skills

• Excellent geographical knowledge for precise route planning.
• Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and secure loads safely.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £19.61, inclusive of holiday pay.
• Additional £2.75 per hour for shifts between 21:00 and 04:00.
