Casual Nursing & Paramedic Roles for UK Residents

About the role

We are seeking qualified nurses and paramedics residing in the United Kingdom to join the Retrieval Medics International (RMI) casual pool. Successful candidates will be employed by RMI in Australia and will support the repatriation of Australian citizens and other international travellers, working on an as‑needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and care during medical repatriation flights.
• Coordinate with flight crews and ground teams to ensure safe transport of patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and handover documentation.
• Respond to operational demands and travel to Heathrow as required.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted and unconditional AHPRA registration as a Nurse or Paramedic.
• Current unrestricted and unconditional HCPC registration as a Nurse or Paramedic.
• Right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident, with Tax File Number and bank account).
• Resident of the United Kingdom within driving distance of Heathrow.
