Cat C+E HGV Class 1 Driver

About the role

Farmfoods is seeking both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) drivers to join its distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol. The role is permanent and full‑time, operating on a 4‑on‑2‑off shift pattern with early starts between 1 am and 6 am.

Key responsibilities

• Complete delivery drops to retail shops.
• Unload palletised goods using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from shops for return to the depot.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain a safe and efficient driving approach at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on the licence and no dangerous or drink‑related endorsements.
• Positive, hard‑working attitude.
• Open to applications from Armed Forces leavers and veterans.

Required skills

• Class 1 HGV driving.
• C+E licence operation.
• Digital tachograph usage.
• CPC certification.
