Catastrophic Injury Solicitor – Manchester (Hybrid)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join its defendant litigation team in Manchester. Working on a hybrid basis, you will handle complex, high‑profile claims arising from police law matters and other catastrophic injury cases on behalf of public authorities and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of catastrophic injury claims, including serious injury, assault, false imprisonment, human rights, data protection and Equality Act matters.
• Lead individual files while supporting group litigation and cases of significant public interest.
• Provide direct client contact and collaborate with recognised experts in defendant litigation.
• Prepare and present legal arguments, negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with experience in defendant catastrophic injury, large loss or complex EL/PL litigation.
• Experience in police law or public authority litigation is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong technical ability, excellent communication skills and confidence to manage a varied caseload.
