Catering Assistant – Part‑time (25‑30 hrs) – Alton

About the role

Join the Brendoncare care home kitchen team in Alton as a part‑time Catering Assistant. You will work alongside the Chef Manager and second chef to deliver nutritious, tasty meals for residents, with a maximum finish time of 7 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
• Rotate stock and maintain accurate inventory.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Ensure COSHH standards are exceeded.
• Complete HACCP records and related documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a care‑home kitchen or catering for older/vulnerable adults.
• Understanding of dietary and nutritional needs of residents.
• Ability to work within set hours (no later than 7 pm).
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
