Catering Hygiene Technician – Specialist Role

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Catering Technician to join our Coatbridge team, delivering hygiene cleaning services across the Scottish catering sector. You will manage your own schedule, respond to customer needs on‑site and ensure commercial kitchens and ventilation systems meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a range of hygiene cleaning services, including commercial kitchen and ventilation cleaning.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment where tasks can change weekly.
• Participate in an on‑call rota to provide timely support to customers.
• Offer expert advice on cleaning practices and products.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and a professional image.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including working at heights and in confined spaces.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to business needs.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
