CCTV Engineer – Field Based, Hertfordshire

About the role

Our client, a leading electronic security company, is seeking a motivated CCTV Engineer to join their field team covering Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. The role involves installing, servicing and maintaining IP CCTV, access control and wireless alarm systems for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Install IP CCTV, access control and wireless alarm systems on customer sites.
• Service, uninstall and maintain installed equipment as required.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and compliance with industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal administration teams.
• Support and train junior engineers as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the electronic security sector.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and familiarity with multiple alarm brands.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
