CCTV Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated CCTV Engineer to join a fast‑growing electronic security company. The role is field‑based, covering Dorset and surrounding areas, and offers a permanent full‑time contract with a competitive salary and overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Install IP CCTV systems, access control solutions and wireless alarm systems for a variety of clients.
• Service, uninstall and maintain installed equipment as required.
• Maintain high quality standards on‑site and ensure compliance with professional regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal administration teams.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and provide training support to junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the electronic security sector, preferably in installation or service.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV technologies and experience with multiple alarm brands.
• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving client needs.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to job sites.
