CCTV Engineer – Security Systems with Training on Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking a CCTV Engineer to join a well‑established security and fire‑safety company serving commercial and residential clients. The position is based on a local patch around Stevenage and offers full training on commissioning and CAD design.

Key responsibilities

• Service and install a variety of CCTV, fire and security systems for blue‑chip clients.
• Travel door‑to‑door within a 50‑mile radius, with door‑to‑door pay for all journeys.
• Support the Service Manager with budgeting, compliance checks and rota organisation.
• Respond to optional call‑out rota and overtime opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and escalate enquiries or complaints as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service or installation of security or fire‑suppression systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to develop skills through in‑house and external training.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for a local patch.

• Salary £43,000‑£48,000 per year (OTE up to £65,000).
