Challenge Events Officer – London Marathon 2027

About the role
The Challenge Events Officer will support Thames Valley Air Ambulance’s fundraising activities, focusing on the London Marathon 2027 and other challenge events. Working closely with the Events Manager, you will be the main point of contact for participants, ensuring they receive excellent care from registration through to post‑event follow‑up.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, support and steward participants for the London Marathon 2027.
- Provide outstanding supporter care via phone, email, post and face‑to‑face contact.
- Drive fundraising activity by encouraging participants and sharing their stories.
- Coordinate event administration, including registrations, fundraising packs, participant tracking and event‑day logistics.
- Maintain accurate records in the Dynamics 365 CRM system.
Required profile
- Confident communicator with strong customer‑service orientation.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for charity fundraising.
Required skills
- Experience using Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms.
