Change Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to lead business and operational change activities within a large‑scale transformation programme. This hands‑on role requires ownership of developing and implementing practical change solutions in a complex, evolving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver business‑focused change management strategies and plans.
• Assess operational impacts and ensure business readiness across affected teams.
• Collaborate with programme leads, HR, communications and senior leadership to drive adoption.
• Design and execute stakeholder engagement, communication and change intervention plans.
• Identify risks, dependencies and resistance, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support organisational redesign, operating model changes, process improvements and workforce transitions.
• Create clear, pragmatic plans when requirements evolve.
• Align multiple workstreams for a cohesive change approach.
• Measure and track change adoption, business readiness and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide proactive leadership and take ownership of delivery outcomes.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading complex business and operational change programmes.
• Proven success delivering change in large, complex organisations, preferably in the public sector.
• Experience with organisational transformation, mergers, restructures, operating model changes or process improvements.
• Strong understanding of change impacts on people, processes and operations.
• Ability to develop practical solutions in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
• Demonstrated capability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility at all levels.
