Change Specialist (Part‑Time) – Hybrid 30 hrs/week

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Change Specialist to join the IT & Business Transformation team in Portsmouth on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working 30 hours per week in a hybrid model, you will help the organisation plan, communicate and embed change across a variety of transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organisation’s Change Management Framework, including standards, tools and best practice.
• Create and deliver change plans covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, documentation and business readiness.
• Conduct change impact assessments and identify associated risks for projects and initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to manage change impacts and minimise disruption.
• Define, monitor and report on project success measures.
• Support the IT Change Advisory Board (CAB) by communicating business impacts.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to design training materials and delivery plans.
• Ensure project documentation such as processes, procedures and policies is up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with excellent organisational abilities.
• Proven experience in change management or business transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
