Chartered Building Surveyor – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our Glasgow office, delivering high‑quality surveying services across Scotland’s built environment. The role offers autonomy, a varied portfolio and the chance to influence commercial, residential, education and leisure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional contract surveying services for commercial, residential, education, leisure and insurance reinstatement projects.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, contractors and loss adjusters.
• Lead inspections, dilapidations surveys, technical reporting and overall project delivery.
• Manage refurbishment, maintenance and reinstatement projects from inception to completion.
• Support graduate surveyors on their path to chartership.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong technical and project delivery experience in building surveying.
• Clear communicator comfortable with client interaction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of insurance reinstatement is a plus.
