Chartered Financial Planner

About the role

We are partnering with a chartered financial planning firm that is experiencing steady growth. The role focuses on servicing an established client bank, delivering lifestyle‑focused, goals‑based advice without any new‑business sales pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portion of the existing client bank and service it to a high standard.
• Deliver lifestyle, goals‑based financial planning with cash‑flow modelling at the centre.
• Conduct annual reviews and provide ongoing advice across pensions, investments and wider planning.
• Support the para‑planning team on more technical and advanced cases.
• Identify holistic planning opportunities within existing client relationships.

Required profile

• Chartered, or very close to chartered status.
• Strong technical knowledge, ideally built through a para‑planning route.
• A true lifestyle planner who leads with the client’s goals rather than the product.
• Warm, personable and able to build trust quickly.
• Comfortable using cash‑flow planning tools such as Voyant.
• Down‑to‑earth, collaborative and focused on continual improvement.

• Salary up to £80,000 per year, dependent on experience.
