Chartered Financial Planner

About the role

The Chartered Financial Planner will be based in our Epsom office, managing an established client bank of around 100 high‑net‑worth retirees and families. You will provide comprehensive, whole‑of‑market financial advice across pensions, investments, tax, retirement and estate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio with assets ranging from £150k to £10m.
• Deliver tailored advice on pensions, investments, cash‑flow modelling, tax planning, trusts and estate matters.
• Collaborate with dedicated administrators and paraplanners to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with referral partners such as accountants and solicitors.
• Contribute to the firm’s five‑year expansion strategy by identifying new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Chartered Financial Planner qualification (CISI or equivalent).
• Proven experience advising high‑net‑worth clients, particularly retirees and family wealth.
• Track record of managing client assets up to £10 million.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a client‑facing role.
