Chartered Surveyor – Claims & Loss Adjusting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to lead and expand our Surveying Services division within a high‑quality claims and loss adjusting business. Working from a home base, you will assess a mixed portfolio of property loss perils and provide accurate reports for insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, inspections and investigations of domestic and commercial properties affected by water, fire, impact, storm and other perils.
• Evaluate damage, estimate repair costs and produce detailed reports for claim settlement.
• Interpret insurance policies and coverage to ensure accurate claims handling.
• Travel to claim sites as required while maintaining a primary remote working arrangement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, preferably within claims management, loss adjusting or the insurance sector.
• Professional chartered status such as MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of property surveying techniques, building materials and construction practices.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various sites.

What we offer

• Salary up to £75,000 per year, dependent on experience.
