Chartered Surveyor – Insurance Reinstatement

About the role

We are looking for a Chartered Surveyor to join our team in Reading. The role focuses on managing insurance‑related domestic and commercial reinstatement projects from initial inspection through to completion, with a performance‑based bonus and profit‑share scheme.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties, diagnose defects and produce detailed reports.
• Manage the full reinstatement process, including tendering and coordinating repairs.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets and quality standards to ensure successful completion.
• Maintain communication with insurers, contractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Surveyor with experience in building surveying.
• Proven track record in insurance reinstatement or similar project management.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
