Chartered Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Tax Accountant to join our established Private Client team in Devon. The role combines client‑facing tax compliance with the opportunity to develop broader advisory services for a diverse portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns, capital gains tax calculations, and trust and estate tax filings.
• Provide tax planning advice to farmers, landowners, business owners and other high‑net‑worth clients.
• Collaborate with solicitors and other private‑client specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Assist in expanding the team’s advisory offering beyond traditional compliance work.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or tax professional with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax matters.
• Desire to influence service development and work closely with clients.
