Chartered Tax Advisor – Up to £60k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Tax Advisor to join a specialist accountancy practice in Slough. You will manage a portfolio of clients within a specific sector, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services while building trusted, long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance.
• Prepare and review a range of tax returns in line with current UK legislation.
• Provide proactive tax planning advice to improve client tax efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering clear guidance and regular reviews.
• Collaborate with colleagues on broader financial and business advisory projects.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax law changes and contribute to practice improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax‑focused role.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or equivalent), or part‑qualified.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxation.
• Eligibility to work in the UK full‑time without restriction.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting software.
