Chef de Partie – Banqueting

About the role

Grantley Hall, a five‑star luxury hotel in the North Yorkshire countryside, is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead its Banqueting section. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional food quality for high‑end events and hotel guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Banqueting section under the guidance of the Sous Chef.
• Support the development of creative menus and maintain the high standards expected by the hotel.
• Ensure food quality meets the hotel’s exceptional standards.
• Communicate guest and team feedback to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Provide assistance to other sections when required.
• Train, delegate tasks to Commis Chefs and apprentices, and maintain cleanliness, stock control, and organisation of the section.

• Experience guiding and training junior staff.
