Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Rising Sun, a scenic pub with accommodation in St Mawes, Cornwall. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, preparing dishes with locally sourced produce and ensuring each plate meets our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and specifications.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Support the Head Chef and other team members during busy service periods.
• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering as needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative and efficient kitchen workflow.

Required profile

• Well‑organised and adaptable with a genuine passion for food.
• Pride in keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
